The coil built vessel is guided by intuition, first constructed fully and then deconstructed and refigured. Materials that would otherwise be waste, like abandoned chunks of clay and slip from a bucket, are used to create unique textures. The piece is soda fired and includes haphazard application of glaze and a variety of flashing slips.
