Soda Fired Earthenware, 9 x 10.5 x 20 in

Soda Fired Earthenware sculptural vase. This piece was coil-built, before being textured, sprayed with a variety of natural oxides, and fired in a cone 1 soda kiln. The surface variation on the piece is a direct result of the firing process and records the path of the flame throughout the kiln.
