Mind-Full Assemblage #3 was constructed in a an ongoing series composed of slip cast pieces and hand sculpted figures/details. The skull base represents the subconscious where the creative process is born. The precariously balanced components rise and assemble to represent ideas emerging from the imagination. I had fun with the challenge of making up the compositions as I went along and visually balancing the piece as a whole. The Mindful Assemblage was created with white and terracotta clay bodies, underglaze , glaze and fired in cone 04 oxidation.
