Pittsburgh Potters Tour — September, 2025

Ceramic artists—thank you for your interest in participating in the Pittsburgh Potters Tour! An annual event hosted by Clay Pittsburgh, the Potters Tour draws hundreds of people from all over the country to learn, buy, and connect with our vibrant community of local artists.

How it Works

In September, on the third weekend after Laborday, various ceramic studios located throughout the city will open their doors to the public, providing visitors an opportunity to shop, mingle, and learn more about their studio practices. At our last Tour, we had 18 unique studios hosting over 50 guest artists!

We do extensive advertising and social media posts, print brochures, have web pages, maps, flyers, posters, yard signs, and a media kit that will enable you to make the most of your participation in our Pittsburgh Potters Tours

Eligibility

Host Studios should be real working artists studios or be institutions that have studio artists working on site, or student working on site, who will participate. Guests artists may be local, or from out of town. Hosts may select their own guests, or we can help pair people up.
