Pick Up Your Tour Brochures

Pittsburgh Potters Tour · November 21–22, 2026

The brochures are printed and ready. Every host and guest artist gets 125 to hand out before the tour. Choose the pickup point that works best for you.

If you pick up for the other artists or friends please get them to that artist within a day or two. Their distribution can’t start until the brochures are in their hands.

Put Your Brochures to Work

These brochures are our main printed promotion for the tour. Your job is to put each one in front of someone likely to come and buy, so the sooner you have them, the more good they do.

Where your 125 should go

  • Hand them to people you know. Friends, coworkers and so on. Circle your stop on the map.
  • Place small stacks in busy local spots. Good choices are coffee shops, bakeries, boutiques, galleries, bookstores, libraries and community centers. Favor places near your stop, since those customers are already close by and you can check how the brochures are moving.
  • Write a list of 10 places you want to approach.

Best practices

  • Ask first. Get permission before leaving brochures in a business, and ask for a spot by the register or door.
  • Start small. Leave 5 or 10. Check back and see where they are getting picked up. Add more as needed.
  • During the tour. Visitors can pick up a brochure at every host stop. Hosts should keep a stack by the door and by the checkout.

Pickup hours: Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 11am–5pm

No appointment needed. Stop in during these hours and ask for your brochures.

Pickup hours: Every day, 9am–8pm, with at least 24 hours’ notice
