I’ve worked with clay for more than 50 years–that has to be love–first making utilitarian and then sculptural pieces, using stoneware, terra cotta, and porcelain–even Egyptian Paste. The current work is cast porcelain–from molds made by Jerry Kaplan and by me–some with found object inclusions or piercings of rubber or plastic.

Potters in my atelier have developed their own techniques and styles. Some have worked in this studio for decades.
