Taking inspiration from the natural world, much of my work is an attempt to create the stillness and quiet I seek in nature. Most pieces are wheel thrown porcelain and feature hand carved botanical designs. Hoping to achieve a balance of functionality and artistry, the goal is always to instill a quiet sense of peace. Whilst my formal education is a BFA from Carnegie Mellon in Vocal Performance, I have been working with clay for decades. In 2022, I opened up larkspur pottery in Mt. Lebanon, PA.
