I love Ceramics

Support our mission

If you’ve ever walked into a Pittsburgh potter’s studio and fallen in love with a piece — held it, turned it over in your hands, brought it home and given it a permanent place on your shelf or table — then you already know what Clay Pittsburgh is about.

We exist to make those moments possible. By connecting the buying public with Pittsburgh’s extraordinary community of ceramic artists, we help collectors find their next favorite potter, help artists build sustainable careers, and help this city’s clay tradition grow and thrive.

Your donation keeps our annual Potters Tour free and open to everyone. It funds the exhibitions, artist talks, and studio gatherings where the public gets rare, intimate access to the people behind the work they love. It supports emerging potters at the start of their careers and celebrates established artists who have spent decades perfecting their craft.

Pottery isn’t just décor. It’s a relationship between maker and collector, between hand and clay, between an artist’s vision and your kitchen table. Clay Pittsburgh is where those relationships begin.

If this community has given you something — a beautiful object, a new obsession, an artist you now follow and collect — please consider giving something back.

Every dollar goes directly toward connecting Pittsburgh potters with the people who love their work.
