Past Ceramixers

PCA&M ceramic artist in residence Katie Botterman gave a wonderful talk covering the inspiration and research behind her exhibition “It’s About Time”. Below are some reflections on Katie’s talk from Clay Pittsburgh’s Vice President, Felice Cutruzzula:

“Katie had a great turnout at her talk, “It’s About Time”. It was about her time in school, early works, and creative influences…She really was heartfelt, and also kept it humorous as well. I’m intrigued by the cuneiform that’s becoming a part of her style in her current works, and loved learning about her passion for language and the history of communication.”
