About Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and why they are needed

Some hosts have found the insurance issue confusing, so I want to clarify. If you have homeowners or business insurance it insures YOU, but not Clay Pittsburgh. You need to insure both of us. This is standard for all kinds of events and situations now-a-days. The insurance must specifically list “Clay Pittsburgh, 2338 Sarah Street, Pittsburgh, PA” as an “Additional Insured” party.
