Featured faculty artist Scott Cornish creates functional porcelain pottery fired in a wood-fueled kiln of his own design. Rather than using glazes, he relies on flame and wood ash to create rich, natural surfaces that record the path of the fire. Cornish has exhibited nationally and internationally and continues to balance an active studio practice with teaching the next generation of ceramic artists.
