As a college math and statistics instructor, I loved helping students visualize the meaning behind formulas and equations. Later, I discovered metal clay, where clay-like techniques are transformed into solid metal in the kiln. I enjoyed creating art jewelry and helping students explore the balance between technical skill and artistic expression.

Eventually, I found my way to pottery. Starting with miniature pieces made using my jewelry tools, I’ve gradually expanded into larger forms while continuing to enjoy the small-scale work. Exploring new materials, techniques, and ideas remains one of the greatest joys of my creative journey.
